The trip I have chosen from May began at Sandwick Bay in South Ronaldsay heading south to Shortie Geo.
There were lots of caves and fissures and rock gardens on the way down the east coast.

We passed the building which folk used to change for church, after rowing across from Swona, and, with a respectful nod to the Pentland Firth tides, turned back north.
